Black religions of the African diaspora map spiritual meaning within the nations where they took root and grew, as well as beyond the bounds of nations to provide access to broader worlds and realms of existence. The projects in SPIRIT HOUSE help us to understand how space shapes Black spirituality and how Black religions have created places and geographies of meaning.
